New Mount Trading, LLC warrants that products bought on dealcomputers.com are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the period below, counted from the date of delivery.

Examples of defects we cover:

  • buttons or switches that double-click, stick or stop registering;
  • sensor faults — spinning out, jitter or skipping on a suitable surface;
  • wireless dropouts that persist after re-pairing on the current firmware;
  • a battery that no longer charges;
  • keys that don’t register, chatter or register on their own, and faulty hot-swap sockets;
  • stitching or edges coming apart, a base delaminating, or a print peeling on a mousepad or deskmat;
  • faulty cables, dongles and other accessories supplied in the box.
  • Normal wear: skates, grip tape, keycap wear, gradual surface wear on cloth pads, and the gradual loss of battery capacity that every rechargeable battery goes through.
  • Damage from accidents, drops, crushing, liquid spills, heat, or use other than as intended.
  • Damage from opening a shell or case, modifying the electronics, or installing firmware not supplied for the product.
  • Damage caused while swapping switches on a hot-swap keyboard. Swapping switches itself is normal use and does not void the warranty.
  • Cosmetic marks that don’t affect how the product works.
  • Products bought from anyone other than us, and loss or theft.

Atelier builds carry the warranty of their category, shown in the table above, on electronics and assembly.

Finishes applied to a shell or case — hand-painting, UV print, hydro-dip — are covered against defects such as peeling, bubbling or poor adhesion reported within 30 days of delivery. After that, wear on a painted or printed finish from normal use is treated as normal wear. Dye-sublimated deskmat prints are part of the fabric and are covered for the full warranty period.

Mouse accessories are covered for 12 months from delivery against defects in materials and workmanship. A fault reported within 30 days of delivery is put right under our Returns & Refund Policy; after that, under this warranty.

The ones that stick on — skates, dot skates, grip tape, grip sheets and skins — are wear parts: they are made to be used up, like the surface of a cloth pad, and their normal wear is not a defect. The warranty doesn’t cover:

  • PTFE skates and dots wearing in and then slowly down — scratches, a shiny, flattened band at the leading edge, fuzzy edges, a glide that slows over months;
  • grip tape wearing smooth where your fingers rest, suede matting or turning shiny, and edges lifting after months of use;
  • a skin’s laminate wearing thin where your fingertips rest;
  • damage done while fitting, repositioning or removing a piece — a skate bent by a pry tool, a skin stretched out of shape, a glass edge chipped by a metal tool.

We do cover faults in the part itself: a pre-cut set whose shape doesn’t match the mouse it is sold for, adhesive that won’t hold on a surface cleaned as the install steps describe, a skin whose print or laminate peels or bubbles on its own, and a glass skate that cracks in normal use. The rest — cables, bungees, receiver docks and care kits — don’t wear out in normal use and are covered like any other product.

Fitting skates, grip tape or a skin is normal use of a mouse and doesn’t affect the mouse’s own warranty. Damage done while fitting them — a sensor window scratched by a metal tool, a shell pried open — isn’t covered, as described under what isn’t covered.

  1. Email [email protected] with your order number, the product and a description of the problem. A short video of the fault helps us diagnose it quickly.
  2. We troubleshoot with you first: many issues are fixed by a firmware or configurator update, re-pairing, or a settings change.
  3. If the product is defective, we tell you how to send it in and pay for the shipping — a prepaid label, or reimbursement of the postage we agree with you in advance. For some items a photo or video is enough and we won’t ask for the product back.
  4. Once the defect is confirmed, we repair the product or replace it with the same model, or an equivalent one if it is no longer available. If neither is possible, we refund the price you paid.

Your order number is your proof of purchase — we keep the record. A repaired or replacement product is covered for the rest of the original warranty period.

Not sure whether something is covered? Ask us — we would rather troubleshoot early.
