Overview
Suede is a microfiber grip with a soft, brushed surface, pre-cut for the sides and main buttons of your mouse. It gives a dry, even hold that doesn’t pull at your skin — the grip for long sessions, and for hands that find rubber texture harsh.
The fibres take up a little moisture instead of letting it sit on the surface, and the graphite colour hides wear. Like our textured grip it is cut around the side buttons, adds hardly anything to the shape, and peels off cleanly.

About 10 minutes, start to finish.
Clean the shell
Wipe the sides and buttons with the alcohol prep pad and let them dry for a minute. Skin oil is the reason tape lifts at the edges.
Dry-fit first
Hold each piece over its spot with the backing still on. Line it up with the side-button cut-outs or the split between the main buttons, and note where its edges fall.
Apply from the middle out
Peel the backing, set the centre of the piece first and smooth outwards to the edges with your thumb, pushing any air out ahead of it. In the first few minutes a piece can still be lifted from a corner and laid down again.
Seal the edges
Press along every edge with the microfiber cloth or a fingernail — edges are where tape lifts first. On tight curves, a few seconds of warm air helps the tape lie flat.
TipThe adhesive keeps bonding for about a day: give it that before a long session.
