0-01Ember Linear
Ember is our everyday linear: 45 gf to actuate, 55 gf at the bottom and a full 4.0 mm stroke. It is the same weight as the linears in our Strata 75 and Flux TKL, so it feels familiar from the first press — light enough to stay fast through long sessions, firm enough that keys do not go down under a resting finger.
A clear polycarbonate top over a black nylon bottom gives a crisp, poppy sound: bright at the top of the press, rounded at the bottom, loud enough to be satisfying and quiet enough for a shared room. The red POM stem glides with little friction, and every switch is factory lubed with a thin, even coat — no scratch, no spring ping, nothing to do before you install it.

0-01top housing
PolycarbonateClear
Rigid, with a brighter, sharper sound. Clear, so RGB lights the whole switch. Closes the switch and guides the stem; shapes the sound of the upstroke.
0-02stem
POM
Self-lubricating: the smoothest stroke and a soft, creamy sound. The moving part. Its cross holds the keycap; with no bump legs, nothing interrupts the stroke.
0-03spring
22 mm single-stage spring
Sets the weight: how hard the key pushes back at the top and at the bottom of the stroke.
0-04bottom housing
Nylon
Softer plastic that rounds off the sound into a deeper, fuller note. Holds the metal contacts and pins; shapes the sound of the bottom-out.
0-04Ember Linear
Sound profile
Poppy. A crisp, mid-pitched pop on every press.
Linear switches
Straight down and back up with no bump — the smoothest, most consistent stroke.
Good for
Think twice if: You want to feel the moment a key registers — a linear gives no signal until it bottoms out.
