How do I pay?

After you enter your contact and shipping details at checkout, you pay on a secure payment page run by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. It accepts cards and the other methods shown for your region. We never see or store your full card number.

When am I charged?

When you complete the payment — for pre-orders too. Custom builds are different: you pay an invoice only after you have approved the design and the price.

Question 3

How do I check on my order?

Accepted Answer

After paying, you land on your order page: it confirms the payment and lists your items and shipping address. Bookmark it and keep the link private. When the order ships, we email you the tracking number.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Accepted Answer

Yes, until it is handed to the carrier. Email support@dealcomputers.com with your order number straight away and we will correct the address or cancel the order for a full refund. Once it has shipped, use our returns process.

Do you charge sales tax?

Where we are required to collect sales tax, it is shown as a separate line at checkout before you pay. The total you confirm is the total you are charged.

Question 6

There’s a charge I don’t recognize. What is it?

Our charges may appear under our name or the name of the payment processor. Email support@dealcomputers.com with the date and amount and we will match it to an order.

Where do you ship?

How much is shipping?

A flat rate per order, by destination — United States: $6.99, free from $99; Canada: $14.99, free from $199; International: $24.99. The free-shipping threshold is checked against the order subtotal, before shipping.

How long does delivery take?

In-stock orders leave us within 1–2 business days of payment. From payment to your door it typically takes — United States: 4–8 business days; Canada: 6–12 business days; International: 8–18 business days. Carriers and transit times are in our Shipping Policy.

Will I pay customs duties?

Accepted Answer

Possibly, if we ship outside the United States. Import duties, VAT or GST and brokerage fees are set by your country, are not included in our prices, and are usually paid to the carrier at delivery. Details in our Shipping Policy.

My tracking hasn’t moved in days. What now?

Email support@dealcomputers.com with your order number. We open a trace with the carrier, and if the parcel is confirmed lost, we reship your order or refund it in full.

What is your return policy?

Accepted Answer

You can return unused items in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery, for any reason. Defective, damaged and wrong items are always covered. Full details in our Returns & Refund Policy.

Who pays for return shipping?

Accepted Answer

For a change-of-mind return, you do, and the original shipping charge is not refunded. If the item is defective, damaged or not what you ordered, we pay for the return and refund the original shipping too.

How do I start a return?

Email support@dealcomputers.com with your order number, the items and the reason. We reply with a return authorization and the address to send them to — please wait for it before shipping anything back.

When will I get my money back?

We issue the refund to your original payment method as soon as we have inspected the return, and email you when it is done. How long it then takes to show on your statement depends on your bank.

Can I exchange for a different colour or size?

The quickest way is to place a new order for the item you want and return the original. That way the new one ships straight away.

How long is the warranty?

It runs from delivery: 24 months on keyboards, 12 months on mice, mousepads, switches and accessories. Each product page shows its own term, and our Limited Warranty lists them all.

What does it cover?

Accepted Answer

Defects in materials and workmanship: double-clicking or dead switches, sensor faults, persistent wireless dropouts, a battery that stops charging, keys that don’t register, pads coming apart. It doesn’t cover normal wear, accidents, liquid damage or modifications.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Email support@dealcomputers.com with your order number and a short video or description of the fault. We troubleshoot with you first; if the product is defective, we pay the shipping and repair or replace it — or refund it if neither is possible.

Does swapping switches void the warranty?

Accepted Answer

No. On our hot-swap keyboards, changing switches is normal use. Damage caused during a swap, such as bent pins or cracked sockets, isn’t covered, and Hall-effect boards accept only compatible magnetic switches.

Are skates and grip tape covered?

Accepted Answer

They are wear parts, like the surface of a cloth pad, so normal wear isn’t a defect. If they arrive damaged or fail early because of a manufacturing fault, tell us and we will sort it out.

How does a custom build work?

Accepted Answer

Send a request from the product page — it is free and commits you to nothing. A build manager replies within one business day with a mock-up, build sheet or print proof and a fixed price. You approve it and pay through a secure invoice link, then we build, test and ship it with tracking. Start at Atelier.

How much does a custom build cost?

Accepted Answer

Starting prices: Atelier Custom Mouse from $149; Atelier Custom Keyboard from $249; Atelier Custom Deskmat from $39. The final price depends on the base, finish and extras you choose, and it is fixed before you pay.

How long does it take?

Production takes 2–4 weeks for the Atelier Custom Mouse, 3–5 weeks for the Atelier Custom Keyboard and 7–12 business days for the Atelier Custom Deskmat, counted from design approval; shipping comes on top. Your build manager confirms the timeline before you pay.

Can I send my own artwork?

Yes — add a link to it in your request, or send it to support@dealcomputers.com. Our designer checks it and prepares a proof for your approval before anything is made. You must own the artwork or have permission to use it.

Can I return a custom build?

Accepted Answer

Custom builds are made to order, so they can’t be returned for a change of mind. If one is defective or doesn’t match the design you approved, we repair, remake or refund it. You can cancel for a full refund until production starts. See returns for custom builds.

Which mouse, keyboard or pad is right for me?

Email support@dealcomputers.com with your hand length, grip style (palm, claw or fingertip), the games you play and your budget, and we will recommend something — including telling you when nothing in our range fits. Or browse mice, keyboards, mousepads, switches and accessories.

Do I need to install software?

No. Our mice and keyboards work as soon as you plug them in or pair them. Adjustable settings — DPI, polling rate, actuation point, key mapping — are there to tune when you want to, and we are happy to walk you through them.

Can you help me set up my gear?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tell us the product and what you are trying to do — DPI steps, polling rate, lift-off distance, Rapid Trigger actuation, pairing — and we will walk you through it. We reply within one business day; support hours are Mon–Fri, 9:00–18:00 CT.

What do “Low stock” and “Pre-order” mean?

“Low stock” means only a few units are left. “Pre-order” means the item is not in stock yet: you pay at checkout, it ships as soon as stock arrives, and you can cancel for a full refund any time before it ships.

Are the product images photos?

Accepted Answer

They are studio renders made from each product’s design, so colours and finishes can look slightly different on your screen and in real light. If a detail matters to your decision, ask us before you buy.

Which switches fit my keyboard?

Accepted Answer

MX-style switches fit hot-swap keyboards with MX-style sockets, including Strata 75 and Flux TKL. Magnetic (Hall-effect) switches fit only magnetic keyboards such as Halo 65 HE, and the two kinds don’t mix. If your keyboard isn’t hot-swap, its switches are soldered in. Can I return a switch pack?

Unopened packs — every switch still in its tray — can be returned within 30 days of delivery, like any other item. Opened packs can’t be returned for a change of mind, but switches with a manufacturing fault are always replaced. Switch testers are final sale unless defective. Details in our returns policy for switches.

A switch in my pack is faulty. What do I do?

Email support@dealcomputers.com with your order number, the switch name and a photo or short video of the fault — a key that doesn’t register or registers twice, a switch that sticks, or one that arrived with a bent pin or a cracked housing. We replace faulty switches at our cost and rarely need them back. Switches are covered for 12 months from delivery under our Limited Warranty.

How are switches priced?

By the pack. Packs of 10 to 110 switches cost $5 to $55, and larger packs bring the price per switch down — to as little as $0.35. Every switch and pack is on the switches page.

Which accessories fit my mouse?

Pre-cut skates, grip tape and skins come in a version for each of our mice — Vektor Air, Orbit Pro and Pulse Mini: choose yours under “Fits” on the product page. Flex Paracord Cable and Relay Receiver Dock are made for Vektor Air and Orbit Pro. Arc Dot Skates, Prism Glass Dots, Universal Grip Sheets, Anchor Mouse Bungee and Glide Care Kit fit any mouse. Every product page says what it fits, and the whole range is under accessories.

Do your pre-cut skates, grip tape and skins fit other brands’ mice?

No — each one is cut to the shape of one of our shells. For another mouse, use the universal ones — Arc Dot Skates, Prism Glass Dots and Universal Grip Sheets — which you place or cut to suit any shape.

Question 38

Can I return skates, grip tape or a skin I’ve opened?

Accepted Answer

Unopened sets — every piece still on its backing sheet, nothing peeled, applied or cut — can be returned within 30 days of delivery, like anything else we sell. Once a piece has been peeled, the set can’t be returned for a change of mind: its adhesive is spent and it can’t be sold again. A set with a manufacturing fault is always covered, opened or not — we replace it at our cost, or refund it. Something arrived chipped, misprinted or cut for the wrong mouse. What now?

Email support@dealcomputers.com with your order number and a photo of the problem. We replace faulty accessories at our cost — or refund them — and don’t need opened pieces back. Tell us within 30 days of delivery; after that, faults are handled under our Limited Warranty, which doesn’t cover normal wear.

Question 40

Does fitting skates, grip tape or a skin affect my mouse’s warranty?

Accepted Answer

No. Changing skates and adding grip tape or a skin are normal use and don’t touch your mouse’s warranty. Damage done while fitting them — a sensor window scratched by a metal tool, a shell pried open — isn’t covered (see what the warranty covers).

Question 41

PTFE, thicker PTFE or glass?

Accepted Answer

Standard PTFE is the safe default on any pad. Thicker PTFE rides higher on soft, thick cloth and takes longer to wear through, which also makes it the best choice for a glass pad. Glass has the lowest static friction and never wears in, but it costs more, sounds a little crisper on cloth and isn’t meant for glass pads.

How often should I replace skates?

PTFE wears slowly: with daily play most sets last several months — less on a glass or rough pad, more on soft cloth. Replace them when you see scratches or a shiny, flattened band at the leading edge, when an edge lifts, or when the glide turns uneven or slow to start. Glass skates don’t wear down in normal use; replace one only if it chips, because a broken edge scratches the pad.

Where can the card be used?

Only here, on dealcomputers.com: the code goes in the “Gift card” field at checkout. It pays for anything you can put in the cart — mice, keyboards, mousepads, switches, accessories — and the shipping, but not for another gift card. It can’t be used in other stores or on marketplaces.

How is a gift card delivered?

Accepted Answer

By email to the address you enter for the recipient: a card with the amount, your name, your message and a 16-character code. Choose “right after payment” and it arrives within minutes; choose a date and it goes out at 9:00 in the morning of that day, in your time zone. The code goes only to the recipient — your receipt shows where and when it was sent.

Does it expire? Are there fees?

No and no. The card never expires, and there are no activation, service or inactivity fees: the balance only goes down when it pays for an order.

Question 46

What if the order costs more, or less, than the card?

Accepted Answer

If the order costs more, you pay the rest by card on the payment page. If it costs less, the rest stays on the gift card for the next order.

How do I check the balance?

Accepted Answer

Enter the code on the gift card page — it shows what is left. The checkout shows it too, as soon as the code is applied.

The email hasn’t arrived. What now?

Accepted Answer

Check the spam folder first, and the date if the card was scheduled. Then write to support@dealcomputers.com with the order number: we can send it again, to the same or a corrected address.

Can I get a refund for a gift card?

Accepted Answer

A gift card is final sale: it can’t be returned or exchanged for cash, except where the law says otherwise. When an order paid with a gift card is refunded, the gift card part goes back on the card. Details in the Refund Policy.

What if the code is lost or stolen?

Accepted Answer

Treat the code like cash: whoever has it can spend it. Write to us as soon as you can — we can’t bring back what has already been spent, but we will help with what is left.
