New Mount Trading, LLC (“DealComputers”, “we”, “us”) runs dealcomputers.com and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Registered office: 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, United States. Questions and requests go to [email protected].

Note: We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

When you place an order:

  • contact details — your name, email address and, if you choose to give it, phone number;
  • your shipping address;
  • order details — products, variants, quantities, prices, shipping cost and order status;
  • payment details from the processor — the payment reference, amount, currency and status. Your card number and security code are entered on the processor’s page and never reach us;
  • your marketing choice — whether you ticked the box to hear about new releases. It is never ticked in advance.

When you buy a gift card:

  • the recipient’s name and email address, your name as the sender, your message and the delivery date you choose — used only to deliver the card;
  • the card’s code, balance and the orders it pays for.

When you request a custom build:

  • your name, your email address and, if you would rather we reply another way, your username or number on that channel;
  • the build options you choose, your country, budget and deadline if you give them, your description of the idea, and any links to artwork or references you include;
  • the IP address and browser type the request was sent from, kept with the request so we can investigate spam and abuse.

When you email us:

  • your messages and anything you attach, such as photos or videos of a product.

Automatically, when you visit the site:

  • technical data your browser sends with every request — IP address, browser type and the pages requested — which our hosting and network providers record in server logs for security and troubleshooting;
  • your IP address, used briefly to limit repeated form submissions and checkout attempts. For that it is held in memory only, and it is not stored with your order.

We don’t use advertising trackers, analytics profiles or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your cart is kept in your browser’s localStorage — on your device, not on our servers — until your order is paid. When you start a payment, the browser also notes that order’s number, so the cart can empty itself once the payment goes through. The details you type at checkout are kept in the tab’s sessionStorage, so they are still there if you step back from the payment page; closing the tab clears them. If you switch between the light and dark theme, that choice is stored in your browser too. Clearing your browser’s site data removes all of it.

The payment page of Stripe may set its own cookies to process your payment and prevent fraud. Those are governed by its own privacy policy, published on its website.

We don’t make decisions about you by purely automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects, apart from the fraud screening the payment processor runs on every payment.

We share personal information only with the service providers who need it to fulfil your order or run the store, and only what each of them needs:

  • Payment processor — Stripe

    What they receive
    Your order reference and total, your email address and, for fraud screening, your shipping details. You give your card details to Stripe directly.
    Why
    To take your payment, prevent fraud and handle refunds and disputes
  • Shipping carriers, listed in our Shipping Policy

    What they receive
    Your name and shipping address; where delivery or customs require it, your phone number or email and the contents and value of the parcel
    Why
    To deliver your order and clear customs on international parcels
  • Our team notification tool

    What they receive
    Order number, items, your name, email address, phone number and shipping address; the details of a custom build request
    Why
    To alert our team to new orders and requests so they are handled quickly
  • Hosting, email and network providers

    What they receive
    Information stored on or passing through their systems — including a gift card email: the recipient’s name and address, your name and your message
    Why
    To run the website and our email, and to deliver gift cards
  • Authorities, courts and professional advisers

    What they receive
    What the law requires or allows
    Why
    To comply with the law, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety

If the business is sold or merged, customer information may pass to the new owner, who must continue to honour this policy.

  • Orders: for as long as your warranty runs (up to 24 months from delivery) or as long as tax and accounting laws require us to keep sales records, whichever is longer.
  • Custom build requests that don’t become orders: until the conversation is over and we no longer need them to answer follow-up questions. You can ask us to delete one sooner at any time.
  • Emails with our support team: as long as needed to resolve your request and any warranty claim connected to it.
  • Marketing consent: until you withdraw it.
  • Gift cards: for as long as the card has a balance, and then as long as sales records are kept.
  • Server logs: kept by our hosting and network providers for a limited period for security, then deleted.

Your cart stays in your browser until your order is paid or you clear your browser’s site data; checkout details typed into a tab are cleared when you close it.

Everything travels over encrypted HTTPS connections. Card payments are handled entirely by a PCI-DSS compliant processor. Order records are stored on private servers that only the people who fulfil orders can access, and an order page opens only with a signed link unique to that order. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we notify you and the authorities as the law requires. More in our Security & Dispute Resolution Policy.

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • delete your information, except what the law requires us to keep, such as records of a sale;
  • give you your information in a portable format;
  • stop sending you news about releases;
  • stop or restrict a use of your information that relies on our legitimate interests.

To make a request, email [email protected] from the address you used for your order or custom build request, so we can confirm it’s you; we may ask for your order number. Requests are free, and we answer within the time limits set by the privacy laws that apply to you.

California residents: under the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, you have the right to know, delete and correct personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We don’t sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you can make any request — directly or through an authorized agent — and we won’t treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Residents of the EEA, the UK and Switzerland: you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We’d appreciate the chance to address your concern first.

We are based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed there and wherever our service providers operate. When personal information comes to us from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on the safeguards our providers offer for such transfers, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we tell you by email before it takes effect.
